I just purchased a used Galaxy S10 5G already on android 11 (One UI 3.1), phone's version is SM-G977B. However, when I go to software update on WiFi and tap on "Download and install" nothing happens. Also, no info on previous software versions is seen below.
Tap Download and install, Check for system updates, or Check for software updates, depending on your carrier. If an update is available it should begin downloading automatically, although you may need to tap Download now on some devices.
You can also tap the switch to enable or disable Auto download over Wi-Fi. When this option is turned on, your phone or tablet will automatically update when it's connected to a Wi-Fi network. If this option is turned off, you will need to update your device manually.
Your fix does not work.... all that does is make sure you dont have automatic updates. Maybe you should test your own fix before you send to people... cant believe how many people shovel BS today without testing a fix.. curretly there is no way to download updates on a Samsung on moble data.. weird i was doing that all day long using my Google pixel phone... wondering why i switched to Samsung note 20.. what a joke!!!
I actually had the opposite problem last night. My phone downloaded the latest update using mobile data (1.1 GB) it never asked or notified me at all. It downloaded the update and now says ready to install. It also has a notification for excessive mobile data usage from Software Update which is obvious. It did ask to wait for Wifi as displayed, but clearly that did not work and I have no setting to control it that I can find. I currently have One UI 2.1 and I believe the update is 2.5.
Same problem, live in the country, unlimited mobile data, no access to wifi. What is wrong with these developers that they don't think of this basic stuff? Now I'm being harassed about an update my stupid "smart" phone won't download. What a cluster! FIX IT!!!
With this amazing guide, you now downloaded the GCam APK for Samsung Galaxy S10 5G. Hope you liked this post about Google Camera on Android. Check this article regularly for the latest updates.
Samsung will not provide Android 13 updates to its older devices including Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 series, but you can still download Android 13 and enjoy the latest features on these devices, unofficially through.
So, if you want to keep your Samsung apps updated, you'll need Galaxy Store up and running. And if you use Edge panels on your Samsung phone, you also won't be able to download third-party edge panels without it. But if you don't care about all that, get rid of the store.
